About Cypress Commons:
Cypress Commons Apartments provides affordable housing without compromising quality. Each apartment is tastefully decorated with two bedroom two bath, washer dryer hook up, patio or balcony, fireplace and comes with our Satisfaction Guarantee. Apartment Management Services provides a skilled maintenance staff, timely repairs and many on-line amenities. Each apartment is cable ready. Satellite dishes are prohibited. Cypress Commons has part time resident manger who is available on-line or through our 24 hour Resident Services Center (866) 421-7673. Our Resident Manager can be emailed at Community Manager.
Cypress Commons provides water, sewer and trash. There is a $10 monthly utility recovery fee.
Lease Requirements:
Our goal is to provide a safe clean living environment for every resident to enjoy. As such, we perform criminal background, and credit checks on every resident over the age of 18.
Approved applicants will have:
- Documented income of at least $1275 per month.
- Ok Credit history. Resident with evictions have been accepted before it just depends on history since eviction and how long ago.
- Applicants may apply for both communities with one application.
To determine eligibility, we utilize a program called Safe Rent which provides a holistic approach to your application. Based on income, credit history, and rental rates, this program measures the likelihood you will pay rent timely. Past credit problems are considered but are not an automatic disqualifier. If your application is conditionally approved, you will be asked to provide proof of employment.
Our initial qualifier is income. Each household must have a documented income $1275 per month.
Cypress Commons Apartments participates in the Phoenix Revitalization Corporation which provides guidance on which apartments qualify into the program. Each household will need to annually re-certify their income by completing additional paperwork and providing three most recent pay stubs. For more information on the certification process see Income Certification below. We have prepared an easy form that will expadite the processes.

Wheelchair Accessibility:
Cypress Commons has two designated parking stalls designated specifically for the handicap. While non of our apartments are specifically designated, we are willing to make modifications at residents expense. The master bathroom has a tub and the hall bathroom has a shower with roughly a 4" riser. All interior doors are standard in width.
Pet Policy:
Apartment Management Service believes in the humane and ethical treatment of animals. It is unfortunate how many animals are mistreated. And it is unfortunate there is not stricter police enforcement in Arizona. Apartment Management Services has put in place a set of rules that compensate for such lax state laws.
- We do not have weight restrictions.
- We do have breed restrictions.
- Aggressive breeds are not allowed and warrant an immediate eviction.
- All dogs are charged a monthly pet rent of $35.00.
- An Additional Security Deposit of $300.00 is charged.
Exception: We do not require a pet rent nor an additional security deposit for one indoor cat as long as a kitty litter is used.
